Customer information entered here provides standard information for a number of other applications.

Prospect radio button is updated automatically to Customer when an order is entered for the first time. 

Alternates button allows multiple alternate shipping addresses to be stored for easy retrieval when entering Shipments and Packing Slips.

 Carrier information is entered as a default and either accepted or changed at shipping time.

Multiple tax jurisdictions can be handled each with a different tax calculation formula.
