How will HotReturn™ help me?
Consolidate and Link Sales and Manufacturing Operations
HotReturn™ has been designed as a
materials requirement plan system. The first step is to enter a detailed
part specification and estimate. Once a part specification has been
entered into the database that information does not need to be entered
again and all other activities are linked to that part
specification.
Save time
The database requires any piece of
information to be entered and saved only once. When that information is
required again it is either retrieved automatically or the user is
presented with a list of possible choices from which to make a selection.
Little time is required to enter data once the initial Part Specification
and Estimates have been entered: e.g. entering a work docket requires only
three pieces of information, even this information can be selected from a list and does not need to be
typed. With a few clicks of a mouse HotReturn™ generates a Docket and all the
associated Work Orders, Material Requirements, Operations and Purchase Requisitions for tooling and subcontracted parts and
operations.
Maintaining and monitoring schedules of
when to manufacture parts, when to order materials and when to make shipments
can take a lot of your time. HotReturn™ reports and screen displays
present the information you need to
perform these tasks with confidence and speed. With status reports and information at your finger tips you can
spend more of your time making product.

Easy information access
When finding information or making selections there is no need for a user to
remember or type codes or numbers to find information. The occasional entry of a
password to determine if the user has
access privileges to a function is the only repetitive re-typing of code like information required.
Most information is accessed by making selections from lists based on
known information.
Acurate information
HotReturn™ makes it easy to input
and maintain accurate information. Reusable information like materials,
operations, customer, supplier and other default information is entered
only once and retrieved as needed and where appropriate there is the ability
to over ride default values. Part Specification Engineering Changes
provide the sequential documentation of ongoing changes while retaining
the historical data of previous versions. Password protection prevents
the viewing or changing of sensitive data.
