The
Get Part button presents two options:
For Build and Ship
will display Shipments that
have not yet been assigned to a Docket. Selection of one or more
shipments will enter a quantity equal to the shipments selected and a 1st Ship Date.
This Docket method is intended for orders where there are definite
quantities and ship dates and no long term inventory requirements.
For Inventory Build
will display parts for a
selected Customer that has parts assigned to Customer Inventory.
You need to enter the quantity and 1st Ship Date. The parts from this
type of Docket would be entered into Customer Inventory and shipped from
there when the customer sends releases. |
|
For either option it may be necessary to edit the
quantity and or 1st Ship Date fields. |
|
Clicking Save will write a Docket to produce all associated:
Work Orders, material requirements, operations and
set ups.
AND
Purchase requisitions are entered for:
subcontracted operations,
parts, sub assemblies and purchased set ups. |
|
The Printing & Tasks tab on the bottom tab pane offers
access to a number of Docket related tasks and reports. |
|
Issue Materials button will write all material
movements to disk for a Docket or each material can be issued separately
from the Material Issues window. |
|
The other tab functions are as they are labeled. The
lists allow double click access to the individual records by opening the
appropriate record window. |
