Scheduling

HotReturn™ scheduling adheres to the principle of expending materials and resources as close as possible to the time the items produced can be invoiced. Operations are scheduled to complete just prior to shipping thus allowing the minimum time between manufacturing and billing. Multiple schedules can be produced to allow the effects of changes to be observed before committing to a particular schedule. Schedules can be produced using the HotReturn™ scheduling function or by dragging and dropping the individual operations into the desired time slot.

The Station Load Chart below displays one week of Operations for a selected Work Station. An element can be viewed by selecting from popup lists activated by the large Station and Week# buttons top left or using the Find, Previous Week and Next Week buttons at top right.

When scheduling or rescheduling individual Dockets there are a number of options offered on how the Docket is to be scheduled:
1. Schedule back from the 1st ship date.
2. Schedule forward from a user entered start date.
3. Schedule back from a user entered completion date.
4. Drag & Drop Manual Schedule

To view each cell in greater detail the cells can be expanded. A context menu feature offers the option to print a complete schedule for individual parts.

There are a number of reports to aid in determining the status of various elements of the schedule and to zero in on problem areas.
